VVA-Getting StartedSo you made a character and joined up...
But you don't know what to do now...
It's alright, it takes time to get things started, especially if your characters new or if you never RPed with us before.
Here's how you make an RP post:
[icon] Name (Location): *action* dialogue.
If you can, create an icon for your character.
How do you do that? There are a couple of ways: you create another Deviant Art account with your
character's name or anything you can remember. Most of us put our character's name and "plz" at the end, but that's up to you. Just make the name easy enough to remember.
So how do you post that icon on the chat?
Type in :icon(the dA account's name):. For example, it will look something like this: :icontnicoplz:
Another way to post an icon if you don't want to go through the hassle of creating another Deviant Art account is to upload a picture of your character you drawn and post the thumb. It's here on the right side of the deviation, just copy and paste t

VVA: DisciplinesYeah, this really does need a cooler name, but hear me out what I'm proposing.
Creating this for VVA as an attempt to fuse systematic with classic descriptive RPing battles.
Prior to what we had in the old VVA, I think we should divide the characters into three disciplines: Mind, Body, and Magic.
When making a student character, you have three disciplines to choose from. One point means they get a normal 1x experience if they train it. Keep in mind what the character excels at, either mind, body, or magic, or a combination of 2, or even three. However, if a student chooses to excel at, say, magic, they can choose that as their sole discipline, thus they would get 5x experience when training their magic, taking magic enhancing classes, or doing artwork of that nature.
But what if they want to excel at two types of disciplines? Say they want to be a battlemage-type of player, then they should choose Magic and Body, magic being the most prominent. They get five points to put in to st
